Krishna masterminds the daring elopement of his sister Subhadra with Arjuna, uniting two noble souls to birth the heroic Abhimanyu and secure the future of dharma.

Characters in the story:

Lord Krishna: Lord Krishna is one of the most popular and revered deities in Hinduism. He is worshiped as the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu and is known for his divine teachings in the Bhagavad Gita and for his role in the epic Mahabharata.

Arjuna: Arjuna is a skilled and virtuous warrior prince and one of the central characters in Mahabharata. He is renowned for his archery prowess and is a key figure in the Kurukshetra War, where he faces moral dilemmas on the battlefield, eventually receiving divine guidance from Lord Krishna.

Subhadra: Subhadra is a princess of Dwarka and the sister of deities Krishna and Balarama. Subhadra married Arjuna, one of the Pandava brothers and had a son named Abhimanyu.

One day in the city of Dwaraka, Krishna was thinking about his younger sister, Subhadra, who was old enough to marry, and how many princes wanted to marry her. Their elder brother, Balarama, liked the idea of Subhadra marrying Duryodhana, the Kaurava prince. But Krishna knew Duryodhana was not a good man. He wanted Subhadra to marry Arjuna, the brave Pandava prince, who was a friend of dharma (goodness).

Meanwhile, Arjuna was traveling in disguise as a holy man during his exile. He came to Dwaraka to visit Krishna. Krishna welcomed him and said, “Stay here for some time. You’ll like it here.”

One evening, Arjuna went to a temple by the river. There, he saw Subhadra praying. She was beautiful and kind, and Arjuna instantly fell in love with her. Subhadra also noticed Arjuna and felt a connection.

Later, Krishna met Arjuna and said, “I see you love my sister.”

Arjuna replied, “Yes, but Balarama will never agree to our marriage. He wants her to marry Duryodhana.”

Krishna smiled and said, “Don’t worry. I have a plan. Take Subhadra away in her chariot. Let everyone think it’s an elopement, but it’s really destiny!”

The next morning, Subhadra went out in her chariot to visit the temple again. Arjuna, dressed as a warrior now, waited on the road. When Subhadra’s chariot came near, he stepped forward and stopped the horses.

“Subhadra,” Arjuna said, “I am Arjuna. I want to marry you. Will you come with me?”

Subhadra knew Arjuna was a great hero and a good man. She smiled and said, “Yes!”

They rode away quickly. Soon, the guards saw them and shouted, “Subhadra is being taken away!” Balarama got angry and chased them with Krishna and other warriors.

Krishna drove his chariot slowly on purpose, so Balarama couldn’t catch up fast. When they finally reached Arjuna and Subhadra, Balarama was ready to fight. But Krishna stopped him and said, “Look at Subhadra’s face. Does she look unhappy?”

Subhadra said firmly, “Brother, I want to marry Arjuna. This is my choice.”

Balarama realized Krishna’s plan was wise. He agreed to the marriage and said, “Let them be happy together.”

The wedding was celebrated with joy in Dwaraka. Later, Subhadra and Arjuna had a son named Abhimanyu, who grew up to be a brave warrior in the great Mahabharata war.

Krishna smiled, knowing his plan had worked. Love and destiny had won!
